Travel Tips For Vacations
Searching for some new travel destination for your vacation? Concerned that various holiday spots are not all that they claim to be? Do you feel that some of them are receiving more credit than they really deserve? Here are few tips on some of the major over- and under-rated places.
Some of the underrated destinations are Idaho, New York, Tennessee, the national park in the Southern part of Utah, South Carolina, the Gulf Coast of Florida, beautiful Northern Wisconsin, the gorgeous town of Athens, Portland (Oregon), and Oslo, Norway. Also, Washington, DC is an admired city with plenty of areas to travel around and to explore. South Dakota and the Black Hills have beautiful oases of pine and mountains, as well as plenty of things to do with Mount Rushmore, plus many things at Native American sites, like scenic drives, hiking, waterfalls, and much more. Louisville, Kentucky is famous for its horse racings and betting, plus this capital has lots of small town charm and many enjoyable activities.
Some of the overrated destinations are Miami/South Florida, which was rated best despite the hot and humid climate and crowding, but good for 
shopping undoubtedly; Los Angeles, which is too crowded and congested with traffic jams on highways, plus terrible smog, but still loved by many; Costa Rica; Stonehenge; Disney World at Christmas time—enjoyable, but still very much crowded; Yosemite National Park, which is not worth enjoying in this author’s humble opinion, since there are many more beautiful parks than this; island of Capri; Great wall Reef, Australia; Bali; Atlanta; Santa Fe at New Mexico; and the changing the guard at the Buckingham Palace—visitors seem to find it appealing, but it is not worth that much of your time.
